Val Kilmer kindly allowed the Wildlife Center to host this great fundraiser on his beautiful ranch inorder to raise money and awareness to help rehabituate wild animals that have been wounded abck into the wild. The Wildlife Center promotes responsible coexistence between human and wildlife population and helps preserve the greatest possible diversity of life.As a nationally recognized education and rehabilitation facility, The Wildlife Center preserves wildlife by actively educating people to care for ecosystems and by rehabilitating and releasing wild animals into safe habitats.

Jim and Jamie Dutcher spent six years in a tented camp in the wilderness of Idaho, living with a pack of wolves, listening to them, earning their trust. Now, their films and books, their intimate story of wolves, have touched the world at a time when wolves are once again being trapped and shot. They are bringing their experience and knowledge to New Mexico and helping to address the issues we face here in our State and how best to preserve our wilderness areas to ensure the suvival of the Mexican Grey Wolf.

In association with OutsideGO Magazine Uncharted Outposts and Nomad Tanzania donated an incredible 10 day safari to Tanzania valued at $20,000. The safari features the best camps in Tanzania including Nomad Tarangire, the Serengeti Safari Camp and the new Nduara Loliondo camp and the Sand River Lodge in the Selous Game Reserve.


The Maasai Surf Club/Tusk USA

- Special Guest: The Maasai of Imbirikani Group Ranch, Kenya

A day at the beach and a night on the town inorder to raise funds and awareness for education and clean water on the Imbirikani group ranch in southern Kenya. The beach event will include:Information about the Maasai, Surfboard demos, T-shirts, Barbecue and raffles for wetsuits, surfboards and more. The Night on the Town will feature a short movie on the Maasai, a Live & Silient Auction and raffles. All proceeds will go to the Maasai for a clean water project and education initiatives.

People whom are deeply interested in the behind the scenes conservation work of Tusk Trust will be treated to a very unique one-of-a-kind experience.

Travel Bug Presentation

East Africa presentation at Travel Bug in Santa Fe, NM. Approximately 60 people will be attending to listen to Sandy Cunningham present the company and Tusk USA to interested travelers.


TUSK Conservation Safari 2006

This is a "Safari with a Purpose" which will highlight the Tusk Trust conservation & community projects in Kenya. This safari will be visiting Sarara Camp, Lewa Conservancy, Rekero Kidigo Camp and Cottars 1920s Safari Camp.
