Despite the obvious fact that you are in the middle of nowhere you will be pleasantly surprised at the sumptuous feasts prepared for you!  Gone are the days of stodgy meat pies, dried out roasts and puddings with horrid names like Spotted Dick and Roly Poly.  The new world has arrived and the cuisine is superb.  The influences of India, Malaysia and the Arabic Spice Trade pepper the palate with tempting and sophisticated flavors, and nowadays African dining offers up something for everyone from refreshingly simple to imaginatively sophisticated.
