The highlight of our
safari was James our
fantastic Maasai Guide

Safari with the Kids

As a young child James, his brothers and his friends would track elephant and lion on foot, and chase wildebeest in their own backyard.  It was from a very young age that Tuleto developed his keen tracking skills and he has since become one of the premier guides in Kenya. Today Tuleto continues to live in the Mara with his family, continuing to share his prolific knowledge with the community and visitors alike.

Safari with the Kids in Style

The pure magic of Africa is most aptly reflected in the classic gaze of a child the first time they set foot in the bush, classic symptoms are, a gigantic open-mouth, enormous wide-eyed  stare, and a curious phenomenon that few of us parents encounter these days…complete and utter silence!
The Insiders Guide to Kids in the Wild

In one word Africa is stunning to all of us but watching our children or grandchildren gaze for the first time at a baby giraffe, or a massive black-maned lion, there is simply no greater pleasure in life than being able to witness their wonder first hand!

Insider Tips

Not all camps and lodges accept children, and the very young do not always respond well to travel, but in our experience it is possible to move about successfully with a child as young as four. With the introduction of malarone paediatric, Africa has become a more realistic option for many families and we take our families health and well being to heart. Expert advice on all aspects of your trip will ensure a well educated and researched traveler. This will make all the difference to your Safari and will make the journey so much more fun for all - reading books and tales of Africa, watching the movie classics and the ultimate...packing for the trip these are all essential and not to be missed before you even leave!
